Our Leadership
Tyler Smith
President
Mr. Smith is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
His first role in engineering services was in 2008 in the commercial construction industry. He worked on green-field, brown-field, and recovery projects in the Education, Government, and Healthcare sectors with Halff Associates and Affiliated Engineers. He then moved to the operations side of the Chemicals and Energy sectors with Chevron Phillips Chemical. After various technical, operations, and maintenance roles with Chevron Phillips Chemical, he moved back to an engineering services with Coastal Automation Services with a focus on Functional Safety.
While working within industrial automation engineering roles since 2014, he noticed the expertise and communication gap between functional safety and reliability. This commonplace gap causes unnecessarily expensive and sometimes futile decisions, and this unfortunate inefficiency and inefficacy led to the creation of Dioskouroi Enterprises.
He now specializes in the lifecycle management of engineered and administrative control systems, improving safety while diminishing environmental and financial risk. He formed Dioskouroi Enterprises not only to provide best-in-industry professional services, but with a co-primary objective of protecting and improving the communities the company serves.
